When making a booking with Bluebird Studio you agree to the following terms and conditions.
General
Throughout these terms and conditions, Bluebird Studio will be referred to as “the company”. The person(s) and/or company who pay for the equipment hire will be herein referred to as the “client”.
Booking
- Booking is not confirmed until the company has received a booking fee and confirmation has been sent to the client by letter or e-mail. That doesn’t include automated e-mail confirming payment of deposit.
- When booking a Selfie Mirror or any other product with our company it is deemed that the client has read, understood, has fully agreed with (and is therefore bound) to our terms of conditions of hire.
- If the company is not ready to commence at the agreed start time and it is the company’s fault, the company agrees to operate the hired equipment for the agreed length of hire time. However, if the company is not ready to commence at the agreed hire start time, as setup has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances which are not the fault of the company (I.e. venue’s fault), the hire will still end at the agreed finish time as stated on the booking form/invoice/confirmation e-mail.
- In the event that the company has set up on time but the hire does not start at the agreed start time due to the actions of the client or venue, the hire will still end at the agreed hire finish time as stated on the booking form/invoice/confirmation e-mail.
- The company cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may stop them from attending your event. These include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of company vehicles, sickness, and/or equipment failure. If the company cannot attend or fulfill the client’s hire due to events beyond the company’s control they will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, the company will offer a full refund.
Prices, Booking Deposit and Balance.
- All hires are subject to a non-refundable booking fee of at least ?100 (depending on the service – deposit fees stated in the service description) when hiring the photo booth and ?20 when hiring additional services described as “additional extras”.
- The remaining balance is due in full, before the event start date.
- On the event day, if the operative is asked to operate the hired equipment for longer than the agreed time on the booking form, an extra charge will be payable for those additional hours used (if there is no booking straight after the hire). Any not pre-booked hours are charged ?100/h.
Cancellations.
- Booking Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation liability is then as follows:
A) If cancellation occurs between 90-61 days before the event date, the client will lose their booking fee.
B) If cancellation occurs between 60-21 days before the event date, the client is liable to pay 50% of the total payable.
C) If cancellation occurs within 20 days of the event start date, the client is liable to pay 100% of the total payable.
For example, if the total of the booked service is ?200, the customer paid a ?100 Booking Deposit. If the customer will cancel 90-61days before the event, he loses a ?100 deposit, if cancellation is made 60-21 days before the event, the customer loses a ?100 deposit and need to pay ?100 (which makes it 50% of the total payable), if customer cancels 20 or fewer days before the event total of ?200 must be paid (less deposit). - The client should notify of their wish to cancel a booking at the first instance available by telephone. This request should also be followed up in writing (e-mail).
- A booking will only be deemed as canceled once the company has sent confirmation of the cancellation in writing (e-mail).
Rescheduling
- It is not possible to amend the event date of the booking. Therefore, unless otherwise agreed in writing (e-mail), a client wishing to change their event date from the original booked date shall be treated as a cancellation and shall be subject to our cancellation terms above. The client is then able to make a new booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of the new booking by the company.
- The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booking equipment.
- All sizes quoted are approximate.
- All hired goods remain the property of the company.
- The company reserves the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.
Site locations, facilities, and conduct (Venue)
- The client shall provide the company with a suitable parking space for an estate type of car within 50m of the venue. The route to the venue shall be free of any obstacles and shall be safe.
- Parking shall be provided, at the client’s expense for the duration of the event/or any period where the company is required to be on-site in order to fulfill the agreement.
- Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed upon arrival and will not be moved once set up. Please ensure there is sufficient space at your venue prior to booking, we won’t be liable for not being able to safely set up the mirror photo booth.
- Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use the hired equipment prior to booking.
- Please inform the company of any circumstances that would make setting the hired equipment more demanding. This includes going upstairs and long distances. The company allocates a set period of time for setting up the hired equipment which is included within your price, if there are any complications that are not made known to the company beforehand then the time taken will come out of the operating time. Idle hours (listed in our “additional extras” section) are available at a cost of ?80 per hour, please inform the company when booking if any are required.
- The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start of the event.
- The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove the hired equipment from the venue if at any time a representative of the company feels threatened by the guests or clients or that the guests’ or clients’ conduct endangers the safety of other guests, clients, themselves, or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases, no refund will be given with full contracted fees fulfilled.
- The company reserves the right to refuse guests’ “admission” to the Mirror if our staff feel they are unruly.
- The client shall ensure a safe and appropriate environment is provided for the company Photo Booth to operate its equipment.
The client must ensure the following :
– Access to a space of 2m x 3m or more
– 230v power within 5m of the company Photo Booth equipment
– An undercover/dry area if the event is held outdoors, please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting the box up more demanding, including going upstairs, long distances from the unloading area to the venue, etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within your price, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will come out of the run time. In the event that the company is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still give you the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire. In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of the photo booth, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time in the booking form or in email. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to overrunning of previous activities by you or the venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on the booking form or in email. the company cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event, these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness, or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfill your hire due to events beyond our control, we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, our liability will be limited to refunding all of the monies paid.
Delivery
There is no charge for delivery and travel to Dublin or Navan. A quote will be provided on request for events greater than 35km from Dublin City center or Navan City center. We require a 3-hour minimum hire for any events that are greater than 50km from Dublin center. Where paid parking is required, this will be arranged and paid for by the hirer.
Liability and insurance
- The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company?s equipment whilst on hire.
- The company accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and/or injury arising from accident, neglect, or misuse from use of the hired equipment.
- The company will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behavior to our staff. If this does occur the company is within its right to terminate the hire. We are providing a service to yourselves and guests and therefore feel that our staff should be treated with the respect they deserve. The Hirer shall be responsible for the loss, theft, or destruction of or for any damage to the Photo Booth occasioned in any manner or by whomsoever or by any cause whatsoever while the Photo Booth is at the Hirer’s risk (other than as a result of fair wear and tear) and fully and effectually indemnify the company in respect of all claims, proceedings, costs, expenses, loss, damage and liabilities incurred by the company arising directly or indirectly from any such loss, theft, destruction or damage.
If circumstances arise where a threat or implied threat of harm, damage, or violence to staff or equipment, the company reserves the right to cease providing services. If the client is able to resolve the threatening situation within 30 minutes, the company will resume services. If the situation is unable to be resolved, the company will not resume providing service and the client will receive no refund of the hire cost. Any damage to the company Photo Booth’s equipment during the client’s event caused by the client, the client’s guests, or any other person in attendance at the event whether invited or not, will result in the cost to repair/replace the equipment. All props provided for the entertainment of guests during the hire session will remain the property of the company. The hirer will be responsible for any loss resulting from theft or damage to the props during a hire session.
All other terms and conditions
The company may use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means; this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or on the internet.
Attending your event would mean you agree to give the company permission to use images of the client and guests if the company feels fit. Please feel free to contact us before you book the equipment if you are unclear about any parts of our terms and conditions.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
*All your personal information provided to us will never be shared with any third parties. Your information will be stored securely in a locked cabinet and any digital copies of this information will be password protected. We will retain your information and images for 7 years in which you will be able to obtain copies should you misplace or damage your original items. After that period any paper copies will be shredded and destroyed and digital information and images will be permanently deleted and non-retrievable. You will receive a photocopy of this document upon booking. Should you misplace this document and require a replacement you must call us to collect a new copy,
Any information provided on this page and on our social media will never be shared with any third-party companies.
We may need to contact you to remind you of when you have upcoming bookings or when a total balance is due. We need to have your consent to do this.
